2k Kids’ Dash

2K KIDS' DASH

Kids, start your engines for a 2km blast on Tamaki Drive! Kids start under the same big arch as the adults and follow a simple 500m out/ 500m back course on both sides of the start line - first towards the city, then towards St Heliers. Marshals and a bike rider will show you exactly where to go before turning you into the reserve for the glorious sprint down the finish line! Wear that finisher medal to school on Monday ... you earned it!

 The Course

Feel the thunder! We expect a huge line up of adults to cheer on the kids as they take centre stage for 2K dash. The dash starts under the main Start Arch on Tamaki Drive. The road will be locked down to give the kids unrestrictred and safe use as they charge up Tamaki Drive for 500 metres, turnaround and then run back under the start arch - massive cheering squad guaranteed - to the second turnaround at 1.5km. That just gives parents enough time to bolt into the venue and watch that glorious finish. Onya!
